Può essere tutto o nulla. Il fatto che se riavvii il PC il problema non si presenta ma solo quando lo accendi ( ogni volta che lo accendi da zero o solo la prima volta nell'arco della giornata? ) mi fa pensare all'avvio rapido, visto che il PC effettivamente non si spegne ma è una sorta di ibernazione. Quindi disabilita l'avvio rapido da Pannello di controllo --> Opzioni risparmio energia --> Specifica cosa avviene quando si preme il pulsante di alimentazione --> Modifica le impostazioni attualmente non disponibili --> Disabilita "Attiva avvio rapido (scelta consigliata)" --> Salva cambiamenti
EDIT: Credo che invece il problema sia proprio il mouse, leggo frasi tipo:

I'm also using a Gigabyte Z77 board, with Synapse 2.0 installed with a Taipan, I seem to have the same problems that you are having, has there been a solution for this?

In pratica evitare che il dispositivo venga spento per il risparmio energia da Gestione Dispositivi. Inoltre viene indicato di disabilitare l'ErP/EuP, Energy Using Product, nel BIOS. Anche staccare-attaccare il cavo durante la fase di lag ma non mi sembra un granché come possibile soluzione.
