E' giusta la traduzione di queste due frasi?

ITA: L'uomo che guidava non era abbastanza riposato per poter continuare

Io ho tradotto così: The man who was driving wasn't rested enough to can go on

L'altra è: Era una giornata così calda che restammo in spiaggia tutto il giorno

It was such a hot day that we staied (remained) at the seaside all the day

Sono giuste? :D

It was such a hot day that we staied (remained) at the seaside all the day

Sono giuste? :D

a me risulta che quando c'è sosteantivo + attr si usa such a +aggettivo+sostantivo :(

in effetti è meglio scrivere

It was so hot a day that we remained at the seashore all day long

Dal punto di vista grammaticale "stretto" la prima versione che ho postato è corretta, solo che viene usata in pratica molto raramente, quindi può suonare un po' strano se detto ad un madrelingua.
