Beh io il black metal, quello di fine anni '80 primi '90, quello della Inner Circle, non l'ho mai seguito pur sapendo tutti gli avvenimenti ed aver ascoltato parecchi di quegli album, letto interviste ecc ecc
Discorso diverso per il black metal primordiale, Venom, Bathory, Mercyful Fate, Celtic Frost/Hellhammer/Triptykon (i miei preferiti di sempre). ;)

si facevo un discorso estremizzato, senza voler generalizzare, pur senza riuscirci troppo...
intendevo che per molti versi fu proprio in quegli avvenimenti che il 'concetto' si sublimò completamente, e il falò (non solo figurato...) fu talmente creativo e distruttivo allo stesso tempo, che non poteva prevedere un seguito, se non 'imitativo' (per fortuna, ripeto :D)

Se uno guarda le sonorità, i Mercyful Fate sarebbero ancora meno black metal dei Venom, ma come "credo" sono molto oscuri, non per niente ma King Diamond è realmente uno dentro certi argomenti, non è un pretesto o posa per sembrare cattivi.
Gli Iron Maiden molti li considerano hard rock o classic rock, gente che in genere pensa che il metal sia solo ritmiche pachidermiche, cantato scream o growl, basta vedere i tanti musicisti su YT, spesso anche polistrumentisti, spesso sono gente sui 30.
Molte band negli anni '70 utilizzavano sonorità metal, alcune canzoni degli Sweet, se vogliamo i Beatles di Helter Skelter suonavano una versione embrionale di metal.

io non sono un 'credente' ma quello che mi 'intriga' del black è una certa somiglianza col punk, relativamente all'ambito hard almeno

basta tecnicismi (magari anche per incompetenza) e wall of sound a manetta (con briglia sciolta anche fuori dal palco)
questo soprattutto nella seconda ondata, che si concretizzò in norvegia

btw anche tutte le tematiche, per lo più credo nacquero (edit: o meglio si estremizzarono) per provocare, quindi marketing stringi stringi (a prescindere dalle questioni 'extra'...)

Certo come sonorità sono heavy metal e li considero heavy metal, ma come "credo" e come "oscurità" sono classificati black metal da sempre, anche da gente che scriveva sulle riviste metal dell'epoca.
Etichettare la musica non piace, serve solo per far capire a cosa uno si riferisce.

Poi vabbè uno può considerare Scum dei Napalm Death come polka o mazurka in chiave estrema. :D :hic: :fiufiu:

direi anche che è stato l'unica vera vittima di tutta la vicenda
tra l'altro anche subito dopo il gesto, con il servizio fotografico usa e getta (o meglio, scatta e usa...) da parte dell'amicone

si senza dubbio, pur concedendo che proprio per il modo in cui è stato caratterizzato in norvegia ha marchiato a fuoco un genere che già di suo tendeva ad essere divisivo, diciamo così...
non a caso molti 'credenti' del black tendono ad essere più protettivi anche rispetto a cosa è puro e cosa no, con non raramente caratteri tipicamente di religione

questo nonostante sia restato il sottogenere probabilmente più prolifico, o per lo meno vivo (non troppo certo lo sia mai stato cmq, proprio per la caratterizzazione di cui sopra)
