Il gigante canadese ATI, ha annunciato il suo primo chip 3D dedicato ai telefoni cellulari: l'IMAGEON 2300! Questo nuovo chip permetterà a tutti gli utenti di vivere l'esperienza del 3D via OpenGL ES 1.0 sul proprio telefono mobile oltre che di gustarsi video in formato MPEG-4.
L'IMAGEON 3200, sarà dotato di 2 MB di memoria, integrerà un motore di compressione immagini JPEG ed un controller per gestire una foocamera da 2 mega pixels. A confronto l'N'Gage sembra un tostapane :D :D

Dovremmo vederlo a primavera inoltrata sugli Smartphone Motorola :)
