sono andato lì, ho scaricato mesa lib 5.0.2, ho fatto ./configure, poi make... nisba, allora ho fatto come diceva il readme e poi make linux-x86.

Sembra installarsi, allora tutto ok, ma se torno a tux e faccio ./configure si inchioda di nuovo.. come mai?

Sì. Probabilmente stai usando dei driver closed source, che hanno sostituito le libGL (per questo trova la funzione incriminata); ma gli header (file .h) della slack sono probabilmente vecchi e relativi a un'altra versione delle librerie (per questo non ne trova la dichiarazione). Metà della colpa va ai driver che hai installato: sostituendo le librerie, dovevano sostituire anche gli header. Poco male cmq, puoi sostituire i file sotto /usr/X11R6/include/GL/ con i file .h aggiornati prelevati dalle librerie mesa. Non serve ricompilare nulla (tra l'altro faresti solo danni, in quanto sostituiresti le libGL installate dal driver con quelle delle mesa, che con buona probabilità non funzioneranno con il tuo driver), ma devi procedere manualmente alla sostituzione dei file.

Problema noto , ce lo avevo ankio con le DRI , non è un prob di drivers , guarda tra le faq di Tux racers , ci dovrebbe essere la soluzione (almeno , io avevo letto qualcosa là)

ho installato le mesa nuove ma mi da problema, ma è stupida la cosa visto che credo che quelle di slack 9 siano superiori alla 3.2... cmq, in ogni caso... !!!

anch'io ho avuto lo stesso problema con i DRI

risolto armeggiando coi link simbolici in

/usr/lib/opengl/xfree/lib/

facendo puntare tutti quelli che c'erano a libGL.so.1.2
