OCIO- Screen burn sui WUXGA DELL (aloni come sui CRT..) [Archivio]

Ho letto su un giornale estero (c't), che mostrava una foto agghiacciante , e trovato conferma negli user groups che gli schermi WUXGA usati nei dell Inspiron 8500 presentano notevoli problemi di screen burn,
cioè: lasciando un 'immagine statica sullo schermo a lungo restano poi le tracce sullo schermo...unpo' quello sche succede con gli schermi del bancomat che hanno gli aloni della schermata iniziale.

Veramente AGGHIACCIANTE!!!

Mi sono letto tutto il 3d sul forum dell (30 pagine). Da paura!!!

Fortuna mia vuole che il problema esiste solo sugli schermi WUXGA.
Alla fine è stato constatato che tali monitor vengono forniti da samsung e da sharp e il problema esiste solo sui monitor samsung.

Di buono c'è la risposta di Dell: sostituzione di tutti i monitor samsung, e altrettanto buono che ha smesso di produrre notebook con i monitor samsung..

Basically it says that Dell (might be Dell Europe or even Dell Germany only) will replace faulty displays with new and working ones, the faulty ones seem to be from one (unnamed) manufacturer only, the exchange display will be from another (also unnamed) manufacturer (well, we know already which is which).

in short; There is a definitive statement from Dell(.de towards c't):
Dell tech-support will arrange the exchange of affected WUXGA displays as warranted.
Not mentioning brandnames, Dell will suspend the shipping of displays from one supplier and use displays from the other one instead. However, reportedly this exchange service is still ineffective in some cases.

PS: ho letto che c'è anche una risposta ufficiale di dell relativamente alle tastiere dell'8500, a quanto detto più che pessime.
Pare che dal 1 luglio vengano montate tastiere diverse, inoltre sembra che chi ha tale problema può aprire un tag e farla sostituire.
