Dopo un pò che mi gira per lem ani ho deciso di metterla sotto per una giornata di test.
per cominciare un pò di dettagli su questa gtx 680:

Ovviamente si tratta di un PCB con design reference, mentre per quel che riguarda l'apparato di raffreddamento è tutta un'altra storia.
Cinque heatpipe di grosso diametro e due ventole permettono una grande efficienza nella dissipazione del calore. Anche sotto carichi pesanti la scheda non ha mai superato i 58 °C.
A parte il design reference, la componentistica utilizzata per il PCB segue la consueta attenzione nella selezione degli stessi, utilizzata da MSI.

Di seguito il sistema utilizzato per i test:

Mobo: MSI Z77 GD65
Cpu: 2600k @ 4500MHz
Cpu cooler: CORSAIR H100
Memory: 4X2Gb CORSAIR GTX8 @ 2133 9-11-9-28 1T
Power Supply: CORSAIR AX1200

Con la precedente configurazione sono state eseguite due tornate di test, a default e con overclcok perfettamente stabile:

Defult: gpu 1059/mem 1502/boost 1124
Overclocked: gpu 1170/mem 1750/boost 1235

Come già detto, la temperatura della gpu non ha mai passato i 58 °C così mi sono voluto togliere la curiosità di capire fin dove poteva arrivare la capacità del dissipatore stock di questa Twin Frozr 680, così ho proceduto a Vmoddarla:

Potete vedere la Vgpu ed il power-limit bypass (thanks to Shamino) .
Sempre con il dissipatore stock, ho alzato la Vgpu sino ad 1,35 volt reali sotto Load con una temperatura che non ha passato i 62 °C:
