ho un net con ubuntu 10.04 con installato Firefox 10.0.2 e da un paio di mesi non riesco a accedere a siti www.mediaworld.it, www.oneminutesite.it, compraonline.mediaworld.it: qualcuno saprebbe cosa mi sta succedendo. tenendo presente che non li pinga nemmeno

la cosa strana è che arrivi a 32.113.158.6 (che sembra essere un server americano della at&t) e che incontri troppi server lenti

ad ogni modo non sembra un tuo problema visto che comunque riesci a contattare 2 server esterni alla tua rete.

per curiosità, prova con

per la cache sì, ho provato sia firefox normale con cache abilitata che disattivata e anche in private mode con entrambe le modalità.
che io sappia non c'è un proxy, la rete dell'isp è nattata, mi pare, ma dovrebbe comunque connettere i siti indicati.

Anche a me sembra un problema di dns. Avevo lo stesso problema sul sito apple tempo fa.

Comunque se vedi che proprio non riesci a navigare dentro quei siti aggiungi a /etc/hosts gli indirizzi numerici, magari così risolvi ;)

Quando ho avuto quel problema col sito apple non c'entrava nulla l'os, me lo faceva ancyhe da win, android, ecc. Per inciso, io ho fastweb

questo è l'ip 129.35.114.101 del sito che ti interessa. se metti questo ip nelle barra degli indirizzi nel browseb non hai bisogno di un server dns.
se non riesci a raggiungere il sito direttamente neanche tramite ip i dns non centrano nulla. il problema è altrove. ciao.

neanche così. è ho modificato sia wifi0 che ath0 (driver madwifi - ath_pci) ma nemmeno così e ora sembrerà strano ma è diventato meno scattante: cioè i siti fanno + fatica ad aprirsi.
poi mi potresti dire come riportare a stato precedente. ma a voi funzionano?

se cosi dovesse funzionare contatta il tuo provider perché evidentemente. sono loro che bloccano quei siti in qualche modo.

Prova a disabilitare temporaneamente il TCP Window scaling:sudo sysctl -w net.ipv4.tcp_window_scaling=0
