Vorrei una mano a configurare questo scanner.
E' un po vecchiotto.

Ho visto questa guida:
http://www.sane-project.org/sane-mfgs.html#Z-MUSTEK
Lo stato di riconoscimento č "good"
Ho successivamente scaricato da questa pagina:
http://www.meier-geinitz.de/sane/gt68xx-backend/
#cp ps1fw.usb /usr/share/sane/gt68xx
#gedit /etc/sane.d/gt68xx.conf
e in fondo ho aggiunto:
usb 0x05d8 0x4002
override "mustek-bearpaw-1200-cu"

Vi posto anche il suddetto file:

# gt68xx.conf: Configuration file for GT68XX based scanners (1.0.21)
# Read man sane-gt68xx for documentation

# Put the firmware file into "/usr/share/sane/gt68xx/".

# Manual configuration is necessary for some scanners. Please uncomment the
# override line and optinally the vendor and product lines that apply to your
# scanner. For some scanners it's also necessary to change the name of the
# firmware file.

Come faccio a rigenerarlo pulito?

totale 32
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 15 apr 22.14 .
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 15 apr 21.40 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 8170 15 apr 22.14 P9fw.usb
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 7986 15 apr 21.45 ps1fw.usb
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 7792 15 apr 22.13 sbfw.usb

omississ
##############################################################################
# Autodetect Mustek BearPaw 1200 CU, 2400 CU, Mustek ScanExpress 1200 UB Plus,
# Artec Ultima 2000 (e+), and several other GT-6801-based scanners
usb 0x05d8 0x4002

# Mustek BearPaw 1200 CU doesn't need any manual override
omississ

- in /usr/share/sane/gt68xx/ io ne ho solo uno
in effetti col nome: BearPaw 1200 CU e 0x05d8 0x4002
c'e' soltanto: ps1fw.usb

- in gt68xx.conf
lascerei un solo "usb 0x05d8 0x4002"
e toglierei: "override "mustek-bearpaw-1200-cu"

- i comandi:
sane-find-scanner
e
scanimage -L
