View Full Version : DFI UT P45-T2RS - Q9550s - Dominator 2x2 GB FSB WALL

Salve a tutti. Ho da poco sotto avuto sotto mano il q9550s assieme a delle nuove Dominator 2x2 GB prese per andare su di OC (prima avevo le xms2 a 800mhz). Vado benissimo su 3.4GHz (da testare in RS, ma promette molto bene), ma non riesco a superare i 400 MHz di FSB.
A 450 MHz passo il boot, ma si blocca durante il caricamento di Windows (la bandiera non si compone, o si blocca, o rimane vibrante in loop).
A 500 MHz (con moltiplicatore a 7x), il boot mi segnala 500x7, ma in Windows mi scende a 333x7. Strano!?!?!
EDIT: Appena provato a 533x6, boota su windows... ma sempre a 333x6. Assurdo

Che devo fare per salire di FSB??

Per un quadro completo vi posto la configurazione esatta:

Per evitare problemi legati alle periferiche usb utilizzo una tastiera PS/2 nel boot.

Vi porto i test che ho effettuato:
Test 1 = 400 x 8.5
Test 2 = 450 x 8.5


Test 1:

Ho raggiunto -semplicemente- un 400x8.5 con le RAM a 400MHz e timings rilassati. Con la seguente configurazione BIOS:

Curiosità. Sto provando pure FSB 567x6, ma se imposto PCIE Clock maggiore di 100MHz mi da errore 26 sulla scheda madre (problema alla scheda video) e si riavvia. Se imposto 100MHz di PCIE, va su windows ma a 333x6...

EDIT:

Sto facendo altre prove. Imposto l'FSB maggiore di 500, in questo caso 567x6, schermata di boot che conferma la frequenza, subito faccio partire Memtest86+.
Risultato:
FSB 333MHz
RAM 333MHz
CAS 5-5-7-18
Processore 2.0 GHz (333x6)

EDIT 2:

Anche con un solo banco installato fa lo stesso...

Operativo a 471MHz impostando il FSB vref a 00 ;)
