Se ne fanno uno anche a 500m lo compro sperando che costi almeno la metà!

ma a che serve??

1) la breve distanza non è un "difetto" del bt, non per niente si dice "PERSONAL area network"
2) questo sarà sicuramente un extender, mica pensate che il vostro cell grazie a sto coso di colpo ha la potenza per trasmettere in bt a 2km, avrete comunque un hub a 5m da voi...

3)utilità credo limitata a particolarissime situazioni....l'unica carina che mi viene in mente e mettere il cellulare in soffitta perché piglia meglio e usarlo come modem del pc che è in tavernetta :D Ovviamente avremo un hub piazzato in tavernetta e uno in soffitta, perché ripeto per me questo è solo un extender...

A sincronizzare il cellulare col PC mentre sei fuori :asd:
Oppure metti il tuo pc sotto casa di uno che ha la wireless aperta, condividi la connessione bluetooth e ti sei fatto la flat per il cellulare mentre sei in giro per la città :D

Il BT è stato progettato per le brevi distanze, e fin qui ci siamo.
Non capisco l'utilità di questo giocattolo, dato che per le lunghe distanze ci sono il Wireless ed il Wimax, inoltre il BT è pure "sprotetto".
Vero che da solo lo scatolino costa poco, le antenne però costano un botto! :O

anche se, è bene precisarlo, le tecnologie Bluetooth non sono state sviluppate per collegamenti a lunga distanza.
Ecco appunto perchè cercare di di far funzionare un protocollo al di là del suo scopo, quando ce ne sono altri molto più validi in quel senso?
Lo scopo del BT deve essere il minor consumo possibile e affidabilità in presenza di molte connessioni presenti, ad esempio una concentrazione anomala di cellulari al ristorante, allo stadio ecc...

Io ho creato un gestionale per due pizzerie utilizzando PocketPc e connessi al Server tramite Bt. In 1 anno di funzionamento non ha ma dato problemi di sicurezza. Basta settare bene i servizi bt e nessuno riesce a vederti. L'autonomia dei palmari è icredibile. Riesci a fare anche due giorni di lavoro (16 ore di lavoro) senza ricaricare. Con il Wifi invece si scarica durante la stessa sera di lavoro (poco più di 4 ore).
Quindi per me avere un aggeggio del genere è utile. Mi basterebbero solo 400-500m per coprire anche luoghi più ampi(es. spiaggie e lidi)

Cmq guardate che i 2 hub a distanza secondo me non comunicano nemmeno via bt....dire "bt a 10km" è solo una cosa di marketing/giornalistica....ma imho è solo un extender, allora se facessero 2 hub analoghi che comunicano fra loro via internet si potrebbe dire che il bt funziona dall'Italia all'Australia :asd:
Morale: i "ripetitori" servono comunque...e fra di loro dubito fortemente che comunichino via bt...

si si, un Bt da 10km, e se capiti per caso nel cono di trasmissione ti cadono tutti i capelli :asd:
