Vi risulta che per avvalersi della garanzia Seagate sugli hard disk non è richiesta alcuna prova d'acquisto (scontrino/fattura)?

Grazie

Non ne sono completamente sicuro, ma credo che basti avere il numero di serie dell'hd.

Vi allego risposta pervenutami direttamente dall'assistenza clienti Seagate a titolo informativo. Il caso è chiuso! Non ci sono più dubbi adesso. Sorpresi?

We thank you for contacting Seagate Warranty Support. We would like to inform you that if your faulty drive is under warranty Seagate do not require any receipt of purchase to create an RMA Number (Return Material Authorization).

To get your technical queries addressed or to confirm if the drive is faulty, kindly contact our Technical Support
at 00-800-4732-4283. You may also e-mail them at [email protected].

If they confirm that your drive needs to be replaced, you may create the RMA# (Return Material Authorization) online for your drive using the simple instructions given below.

Please first check the warranty of your drive on our website.

http://support.seagate.com/customer/warranty_validation.jsp

If in warranty, please Click the "Create RMA" button at the bottom of the page.

You will then be taken to our Returns system and asked to submit your contact information to create a User Profile.

Once the profile is created, kindly click the link given below and fill in all the requested information marked with the *; and you will receive your RMA number and our address for the replacement of your hard drive.

https://sso.seagate.com/acct_mgmnt/login.fcc?TYPE=33554433&REALMOID=06-000b5494-7c27-1341-aeab-834d5f5c0008&GUID=&SMAUTHREASON=0&TARGET=$SM$https%3a%2f%2fpartners%2eseagate%2ecom%2fpartner%2fuser

With this number you can replace your faulty drive with Seagate.

If you have any issues regarding RMA# creation, please email us back and we will assist you. If you want us to create the RMA# for you, we would require the drive details (Serial Number and Part Number or Model Number) as they are mandatory information to validate warranty and create an RMA.

Awaiting your rapid reply.
