View Full Version : Kubuntu edgy [ATI 2 schermi, boot lento causa network]
risolto editando il file /network/interfaces
non ho risolto xorg.conf e 2 schermi, come tenere il secondo come primario e il primo "spento"
ho provato sia dal tool asus sia con lo xorg.conf e la configurazione nel pannello delle impostazioni di kde... ma si può fare?
Si può sicuramente fare (la modalità a + schermi si chiama clone, ma non è l'unica esistente), e la risposta la troverai in xorg.conf (di certo non nella utility della ati!)! L'unico consiglio che posso darti è di leggere la documentazione di xorg.conf!
Ultima cosa, il boot lento, perchè si pianta mezzora con la scheda di rete, collegata ad un router, anche con ip statico assegnato sta li fermo per qualche minuto... con crtl+c non succede niente, e cmq devo avviare senza usplash nei parametri di boot per poter vedere cosa diavolo stia facendo...
Con o senza splash sai che il problema è l'avvio da rete, no? Se non hai bisogno di avviare da rete disabilita questa funzionalità (magari con il tool di configurazione bum, presente nelle repo)
ora riprovo con lo xorg.conf, cmq anche con lo xorg.conf non riesco a spengere lo schermo che "automaticamente" è settato su clone
per la network, è tutto disabilitato, ma rimane impallato a "configuring network interfaces" al boot... T_T ora provo a vedere se tante volte è la wireless a dare problemi
come da topic editato, dopo il caricamento dei servizi e delle configurazioni, il login di kubuntu mi da' l'ora, giorno e mese in inglese... perchè???
domanda per lo xorg.conf, ho 2 schermi, quello del notebook lo vorrei tenere spento... qualcuno mi sa aiutare?

sicuramente vedrete che è settato solo uno schermo, ma anche se aggiungo il secondo schermo, il primo mi segue sempre il secondo e la domandona della serata è... quale sarà lo schermo principale? quello esterno o quello del notebook?
a me basterebbe solo spengere automaticamente quello del notebook quando parte kubuntu

o viceversa, dovrebbe usare solo uno dei 2 schermi
dico "dovrebbe" perchè l'xorg con le ati è sempre stato 1 dramma x me. molto meglio in caso di nvidia!
ah ok :D ora appena rivado su linux riprovo, intanto ho risolto avviando kubu con schermo del note abbassato, così manco si accende e posso avere il refresh a 85hz sull'altro schermo, lo schermo laptop resta chiuso...
tutto sommato non ho da lamentarmi del pc o della ati... ma delle temperature che in idle il procio sta a 47 appena apro amule o firefox schizza sui 60... se riesco a vendere il note prendo un santech con nvidia.
