[Thread Ufficiale] Schede Madri X99

Ho visto che nessuno ha ancora aperto un thread sulla nuova piattaforma enthusiast di Intel, con debutto proprio oggi 29 Agosto 2014.
Finalmente avremo a che fare con la prima CPU a 8 core fisici di Intel in ambito desktop!
E' la prima volta che apro un thread di questo tipo, quindi spero di fare un buon lavoro.

Dovrebbe essere se non erro il modello di punta anche se stando a quanto vedo è maggiormente orientato all'OC il modello "X99-SOC FORCE". Sulla UD7 invece non mi esprimo, ai tempi di X58 quest'ultima rappresentava il top.

Non ho mai avuto una motherboard MSI, leggendo direttamente dalla sua pagina la vedo molto incentrata sulla qualità dei componenti e su features apparentemente molto valide per l'overclocking. Voi cosa ne pensate? Sarei curioso di sentire qualche opinione sulle schede madri da OC realizzate da MSI.

mi iscrivo anche io. tentato dal tris RVE + 5960X + 32GB. anche se la asrock x99 OC formula mi fà molto gola.

Personalmente mi accontenterei di RVE, 32 Gb RAM e 5930K. A meno che non si richiedano applicazioni davvero massicce o tali da giustificare gli 8 core (e il conseguente esborso economico non indifferente), un 5930k credo offra prestazioni di tutto rispetto e magari un overclock anche migliore, poi magari mi sbaglio.

se fosse solo per game, andrei sul 5820k e risparmierei anche di più o resterei con il mio i7 da 5.1ghz in daily. ma dato che devo anche fare virtualizzazione (quindi userò la macchina anche come lab, hyper-v) ed encoding , i 2 core in più si fanno sentire più che la frequenza elevata. cmq al momento sembra che i 5960x si attestino sui 4.3/4.5 con 1,3v (anche meno) e non mi pare proprio male per un 8 core.

per la ram l'obbiettivo sarebbe i 64gb. ma per il momento costano troppo. poi aspetto anche i primi waterblock per le main. tanto per vedere dove si casca.

per ora quello che mi fa desistere all'acquisto di questa piattaforma sono le ram,il prezzo è elevato, per il resto il costo delle cpu e mobo è simile a quando uscirono i 2011 ... personalmente aspetto il prossimo anno,vediamo se le ram scendono a prezzi più abbordabili
