Errore di stampa CUPS su HP-P1005
Ciao a tutti
Premetto che ci vuole un pò di pazienza, spero capirete..... comuqnue Il problema nasce quando ho deciso di mettere in rete LAN interna, una vecchiotta stampante solo USB, la HP P1005, macchina da guerra! Davvero indistruttibile..... Mi sono amato di raspberrey PI3 con l'accoppiata Ubuntu-server, sistema solamente da riga di comando. Partiamo con installare i drier sul sitema Ubuntu... Codice:
sudo -s apt get update apt install hplip apt install cups inizio la configurazione della stampante USB, metto il driver PPD, scaricato dal sito dei driver linux per HPP1005.... infine... mando in stampa la pagina di prova, e non c'è verso che funzioni... vi lascio all'errore presente e alle vostre riflessioni, ciao e grazie a tutti.... |

Filter failed è un errore generico, in
var/log/cups/error_log dovresti trovare altre informazioni. |

Andimo per gradi, adesso la stampante ho provato a collegarla ad un PC Windows 10 e non viene più rilevata.... forse ho fatto qualche danno... cosa potrei fare? In gestione dispositivi non 'è nenache più presente... Provo a postarti il log....asp Codice:

Sfortunatamente non riesco a vedere nulla di utile nel log, puoi dare questi due comandi e vedere se la stampate accesa e collegata via USB viene rilevata?
lsub lpinfo -v Ed essendo un HP dovresti provare anche a vedere cosa dice hp-info -i |

OK, per modo di dire , la stampante viene regolarmente vista dal sistema operativo, ha pure il suo bel deviceid.
Se la stampante funziona, cioè non è rotta, dovrebbe essere per colpa sempre dei driver, qualche dipendenza non soddisfatta o assenza di qualche plugin, prova a dare nel terminale un: hp-doctor E vedi cosa ti risponde. http://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/...-doctor.1.html |

A parte gli errori sui permessi, anche dopo aver dato la password del sudo continua a non riuscire ad accedere a /etc/cups/ppd/HP_LaserJet_P1005.ppd, la cosa più importante, purtroppo, è quello che viene dopo:

Siamo al capolinea... prima di postare ho collegato la stampante a due macchine, una windows 7 una windows 10 entrambe a x64, cambiato cavo USB, e provato ad re-installare i driver, ed anche li mi ha segnalato di collegare la stampante al PC, sempre su windows.... la stampante viene riconosciuta, si capisce dal fumetto in basso a destra che poi sparisce, ma da quando mi ha dato "filter error", forse smanettando, ho fatto qualche guasto serio dell'HW o del firm della stampante, credo sia successo cos'ì.
La presi alla CDC circa 10 - 11 anni fà, era una figata dato che potevo stampare con costi bassissimi ad alti regimi, le ho cambiato anche il gommino per la presa di carica dei fogli, ora capire che guasto ha non credo sia importante... Anche se fuori topic, ora dovrei prenderne una "nuova" con i toner compatibili dato che in azienda siamo pieni.... ciao grazie dell'aiuto alla prossima... |

Giusto per concludere il thread , guarda che a stare a sentire hp-doctor hai il servizio cups spento. Se colleghi un'altra stampante non funzionerebbe lo stesso.
Per accertarti se ha ragione o torto dai uno service --status-all Se accanto a cups non appare il [ + ] ma solo [ ], devi avviare il servizio. Ma di questo se ne può parlare dopo |
