MacBookPro 13inch lento

Ho un vecchio MaC datato, in particolare un Mac Book Pro 13 inch, Mid 2012 con sistema Catalina 10.15.3. La mia necessità è di utilizzare tale pc solamente come postazione per navigare e niente più ma risulta una macchina estremamente lenta. Continuamente appare il disco colorato con blocco del funzionamento ed il suo utilizzo è difficoltoso. Ho provato ad effettuare alcuni benchmark. Considerando la GPU andando a verificare il benchmark sul sito geekbench https://browser.geekbench.com/opencl-benchmarks relativamente alla mia scheda grafica HD Graphics 4000 è indicato un punteggio di 988 Mentre facendo la verifica sul mio pc è indicato un punteggio di 983 con la verifica “OpenCL” Per l’analisi della CPU sul sito geekbench è indicato per un medesimo processore i5-3210M 2.5GHz un indice di 575 per single-core e 1274 per multi-core, mentre effettuando il medesimo test sul mio hardware è stato ottenuto un valore di 625 single-core e 1377 multi-core. Andando ad effettuare la verifica con lo “strumento di diagnosi Apple” l’unico problema che indica è sulla batteria ma nulla più. L’analisi del carico CPU e Memoria attraverso il “Monitoraggio Attività” non riflette un problema particolare in quanto sono sempre, rispettivamente, al di sotto del 10% e 60%. Effettuando il benchmark con Novabench non mi permette di analizzare la CPU mentre ottengo per le altre componenti: RAM 9score 94 GPU score 123 Disk Score 15 (write 37 MB/s; Read 50 MB/s) Per quanto riguarda l’HD (TOSHIBA MK5065GSXF) l’analisi S.M.A.R.T. indica 99 reallocated bad sectors. Il disco mi sembra in linea con quanto indicato come analisi sequenziale sul sito UserBenchmark https://hdd.userbenchmark.com/SpeedT...HIBA-MK5065GSX Ho provato ad utilizzare il “Disk Speed Test” ma non lo capisco, non si ferma mai, degli 84 test si svolgono al massimo 26. Per la velocità non è chiara, sembra che la velocità in scrittura (130-180MB/s) sia maggiore di quella in lettura (80-120 MB/s). Sulla base di queste analisi non sono riuscito a capire cosa potrebbe indurre il rallentamento della macchina.. Non capisco quasi niente di Mac, ma se un disco ha tutti quei settori riallocati deve essere cambiato, ieri
Dopo averlo fatto puoi preoccuparti se le prestazioni del computer restano scarse. |

La voglia di cambiare l'HD con un SSD c'è ma il problema è che vorrei evitare di avere lo sbattimento di sostituire l'HD clonare il disco e poi tornare ad avere lo stesso problema.

Cioè meglio e più chiaro di così cosa vorresti? Un redivivo Jobs che esce fuori dal monitor a strapparti il computer di mano e ti sostituisce il disco? |

La temperatura non mi sembra un problema poiché è sempre intorno ai 50°C e la ventola intorno 2000 rpm.
L'inserimento del nuovo SSD e l'installazione dell'OS da zero sembra aver quasi peggiorato il problema. Ho rifatto il test con etrecheck e lo riporto qui sotto. Codice:

Io ho il tuo stesso modello (Macbook9,2) con i5 da 2,5ghz. Ho messo un SSD e portato le ram a 8GB.
Posso dirti che il PC va abbastanza veloce, considerando che non l'ho mai formattato ma solo fatto i vari aggiornamenti dalla versione originale( forse "snow leopard") e fermandomi alla 10.14.6. (Di seguito il test). Puoi provare a : 1) attivare il TRIM dell'SSD (che non hai) 2) Mettere il 10.14.6.

Ti consiglio di abilitare il TRIM all’SSD e poi portare la RAM ad 8GB, se ancora così non risolvi (ma dubito) potresti considerare un downgrade a Mojave oppure ad High Sierra, che sono un po’ meno pesanti.

Il TRIM con un disco nuovo non dovrebbe dare alcun beneficio, si tratta di una procedura di manutenzione che serve a lungo termine.

Controlla se per caso c'e qualche nuovo firmware per il tuo SSD.
Poi prova a fare dei reset di PRAM o come si chiama quella cosa

Niente nulla è cambiato anche con prvm e trim.
Il sistema operativo non è una opzione perchè vengo dai sistemi operativi precedenti ed avevo lo stesso problema, allora ho aggiornato sperando di migliorare ma senza successo. La RAM è disponibile, perciò non è un problema di quantitativo di RAM. Codice:

Sarà una stupidaggine però a fare il test con un solo banco di RAM per volta. Non vorrei che una delle due ram ti stai dando problemi.

La ram credo di averla testata in tutti i modi.
Sia con memtest da boot USB che provando a usare un solo banco RAM per volta....sempre beachballing ed una Eternità per avviarsi. |

strana sta cosa...se con ssd ed installazione pulita non hai risolto secondo me c'è un problema hardware. una macchina del genere con ssd dovrebbe andare più che ottimamente per tutti i compiti leggeri, anche con poca ram.
deve esserci qualche problema hardware, ma non saprei cosa...difficile sia il firmware dell'ssd a creare questi problemi di lentezza, però puoi comunque controllare. PS: l'ssd è formattato in APFS? |

Grazie a tutti per i consigli e gli aiuti, ma devo desistere.
Questo PC non può essere riparato, o meglio non conviene e diventerà un nuovo RAEE per buona pace di Jobs :-D Credo che sia un problema della scheda madre, ma sostituirla è proibitivo per il costo che hanno le schede madre dei mac (anche se usate) per poi ritrovarmi comunque con un pc del 2012. Conviene ancora meno portarlo in assistenza perchè poi dovrò pagare sopra anche una manodopera che posso fare da solo. L'SSD nuovo vedrò di riutilizzarlo in qualche modo. Grazie ancora. |

Hai fatto una diagnostica con cmd + D all'avvio? Se ha problemi viene fuori, diversamente non ha nessun problema.
