Plextor continues with: altough the speed is able to read at 48x, the default setting will be 40x. This is because the drive its lifecycle will be decreased at 48x reading speed. Also the level of noise is higher at 48x speed then at 40x speed.

Besides that, CDs with scratches or bad quality can explode at 48x speed. (9.600 RPM) To prevent this, the PlexWriter 48/24/48A has an extra strong front bezel. An user who wants to read at 48x can still do this by using the function SpeedRead which is available by software and hardware.

x cav si intende la velocita di rotazione costante, ovvero non interviene bunr proof giusto?
al contrario la zclv invece interviene.
ci sono altri tipi di scrittura?
ma avete letto che scrive audio di qualita a 48x!

e sarebbe pure il primo ad avere 24x in riscrittura!
peccato che si fermi a 95min e non faccia i 99!
resta da vedere come si comporta con le protezioni, poi sara mio

Non è il primo ad avere rw a 24x...lo yammy raggiunge tale vel ed il LiteOn 52x idem,al pari dell'Asus 48x (esiste con rw a 16 e 24x).

Cmq indiscutibilmente Plex è sempre Plex....ho qualche dubbio sul prezzo,mai visto un Plex appena uscito a 300k.

Oops,ho notato solo ora che il prezzo di 149€ è inteso Iva
