Sì, Busone di Higgs, aveva citato una nat /masquerating & iptables via telnet con lo scolapasta (dal momento che sono su subnet diverse, devi avere un Router capace di poter assegnare un IP all'interfaccia ethernet della WAN e creare un NAT rule che faccia routing da subnet a subnet verso quell'ip - cit Carmico sopra ) ma tu in sostanza mi par di capire non ne hai avuto bisogno. Giusto?
Spero sia lo stesso per me partendo da un DSL AC56U invece che dal tuo RT AC56U.

@carmico: bel riassunto, grazie; spero di farcela con l'Asus che non è certo a livello enterprise. Altrimenti sarà costretto ad usare una seconda scheda di rete. Concordo con te che il modem dovrebbe fare solo il modem e non dover lasciare porte aperte qua e là... senza contare che i vantaggi della tua soluzione con il cerottone/baffo sono anche quelli di poter continuare ad utilizzare il software modemreader di ironmark99..cosa non da poco se si hanno dubbi sulla situazione della linea. Nota: l'attenuazione del Sercomm in down è su banda diversa rispetto al cerottone/baffo e quindi è calcolata su frequenze o medie di frequenze diverse.

L'idea di assegnare un altro IP all'interfaccia WAN del proprio router è efficace ma è un trucco dal punto di vista del networking
In realtà la soluzione corretta è semplicemente dare al modem una route statica verso la LAN del router in cascata (quindi 2 livelli sotto).
Cosa che ovviamente con un router bloccato non si può fare.... è per questo che mi tengo il tech e restituisco il sercomm....

Si ovviamente con una solo riga di comando si fa quanto detto con il technicolor sbloccato.
Per quanto riguarda la tua domanda non c'è alcun rischio di sicurezza aggiuntivo

Per Tim Sky va tranquillo. Funziona tutto come per il baffo.
Per la prenotazione degli IP è noto il bug per cui non riesci a modificare gli IP dei dispositivi connessi a meno di disconnetterli fisicamente (l'ideale sarebbe connetterli uno alla volta e settarne l'IP desiderato mantendendo attivi i dispositivi con IP già assegnato).

- 554/Tcp
- 7070/Tcp

Telegestione? Cos'altro? Problematiche di sicurezza?

ho bisogno di qualche informazione e spero mi possiate aiutare.

Con Nintendo Switch ho Nat D e quindi ho pensato di sostituire il mio router attuale (il baffo rosso) con questo che a detta di molti riporta una configurazione Nat A senza dover mettere ulteriori router in cascata e configurare nulla.

Io ho collegato Ps4 In Wifi e Xbox One in Lan, entrambe nessun problema online.
Io comunque per sicurezza inserisco sempre le porte che segnalano Sony e Ms nel port forwarding.

Grazie anche a te, si solitamente anche io per altro nel baffo rosso c'era il port forwarding già preimpostato. Però ho notato che con PS4 non serviva farlo, con Xbox invece andava fatto o usciva nat limitato

Certo, nel tuo caso esiste un dettaglio in più che è quel Connection breakdown che farebbe pensare ad un problema di sessione PPPoE andata giù in conseguenza del quale poi si leggono quei Configuration Server could not be reached . Vedi post #215/217/219 e soluzioni.
Purtroppo il lato router di questo apparato non è il massimo e prima o poi se cerchi la stabilità dovrai metterci qualcosa in cascata: ricicla un modemrouter vecchio ADSL se ha una WAN e mettilo in cascata (Lan del modem TIm -> Wan del modem/router) oppure pensa ad un router only economico come l'Asus RT-AC51U se non ti interessano le porte gigabit o hai uno switch a parte. I modem Tim VDSL anche se hanno la WAN, normalmente sono blindati e non si riescono a mettere in cascata come router (escludendo il loro lato modem); quindi non puoi mettere un baffo in cascata ad una radiosveglia o scolapasta o viceversa.

Mille grazie.... controllerò la linea Voip come mi hai suggerito, poi se le cose dovessero peggiorare metterò il mio Archer D7 in cascata...

Ciao stamattina mi collego al Netgear che ho in cascata al sercomm, come al solito e navigo. Poi scendo vedo il sercomm che ha la spia Tel rossa e i telefoni non vanno ho detto strano, quindi mi collego al Wi-Fi del sercomm per entrare nel modem è mi dice password Wi-Fi errata. Riavvio il sercomm è tutto torna a funzionare. Cosa può essere successo? Grazie😊

che stampante è? perchè se ha il wifi vai tranquillo e usa il wifi, soprattutto se è una multifunzione, io non ho avuto alcun problema ho una hp laserjet 1102w e una epson wf-2630 in wifi, e collegate con il wps al primo colpo...
se veramente ha il wifi questo è il mio consiglio:
1) cerca il MAC address della stampante, è un codice a 12 caratteri esadecimali,
2) aggiungi un ip statico al Sercomm con quel MAC address su un IP lontano o fuori dal pool, tipo .1.250
3)applica le modifiche e riavvia il sercomm
4) collega la stampante in wifi.
se non ha il wifi devi aggiungerla come usb, a quel punto perdi il monitoraggio dei consumabili, perdi tutte le funzioni che non siano stampa stupida e ci saranno problemi...
spero per te che abbia il WIFI, se sì usa quello e scordati la usb! (consiglio personale)

allora, altra prova: collega (se cel'hai) un'altro TV al box...se salta allora è il box o il suo alimentatore...altrimenti è la TV che da problemi (le scintille non sono un buon segno)...l'ideale sarebbe che avessi un multimetro e controllassi il ground ai vari dispositivi...magari hai un'amico che ci capisce...o un amico elettricista...
perche se hai collegato il box tv e solo accendendo il TV è saltata...misa che è la TV (la parte di alimentazione)
sia a TV acceso che spento tra il ground della tv e del box ci devono essere 0V sia in continua che in alternata...

Certo awemo, connettersi in wifi al modem Tim è come connettersi con una seconda scheda di rete. Tuttavia non sempre è possibile usare il wifi e non sempre... si ha una seconda scheda di rete.

Se dunque qualcuno sapesse che settings servono per permettere il contemporaneo accesso sia alla GUI del router in cascata che del modem Tim, batta un colpo! Grazie

Per accedere alla GUI del modem in cascata, chi non ha la fortuna di avere un router che glielo consenta (come pare sia l'ASUS) provi a dare una classe di indirizzi pubblici per la rete tra modem e router, tipo 192.167.1.0. Magari provate con una subnet /30 così da perdere solamente tre indirizzi.

192.167.1.0/30 ovvero 255.255.255.252
192.167.1.1 - 192.167.1.2

E' solo un tentativo... ma potrebbe dare i suoi frutti.

Magari arrestando il boot si potrebbe tentare di copiare ed estrarre le partizioni...e qui mi fermo

Oppure loggandoci con le credenziali admin/admin si può ad esempio startare il demone telnet e proseguire negli studi via ethernet/wifi.

Nel log si può notare pure il bootloader 'Sercomm Boot Version 1.0.2.0', magari il nuovo firmware 1.0.4 inviato dal gestore ha cambiato anche la release del bootloader.

Ok ma a parte quell'errore il comando adslctl funziona ? SI recuperano tutti i dati di linea compresi hlog allocazione della portante ? questa cosa è interessantissima per utilizzare DSLstats

Al momento non ho un Sercomm per verificare. Le cose interessantissime potrebbero essere molte, configurazione VOIP compresa.
