Ciao a tutti, io ho scaricato, e sto usanto con soddisfazione
 , Mandriva 2008 ONE, la mia domanda è: io ho scaricato la versione 32bit, che è l'unica che ho trovato, ma posso ottenere anche la 64bit? Sul sito nn son riuscito...

prova a scaricarla da un altro sito. Sul sito di mandriva ci sono i mirror dai quali scaricarla. Oppure scaricati i tre CD sempre della 2008 "free"

Il tuo processore supporta i 64 bit, per quanto riguarda il software open source non dovrebbero esserci grossi problemi, potresti avere problemi per usare il plugin flash di Adobe oppure Opera, che non credo siano compilati per i 64 bit. Dovrebbe esserci uno strato di retrocompatibilita', ma non saprei. Saluti

per informazione di cronaca, non te lo scarica dato che explorer non gestisce i file superiore a 4 giga in download.
questa cosa l'ho scoperta tramite lo scaricamento di suse, che ti avverte di questo problema. infatti utilizzando l'ftp di total commander o un qualsiasi software ftp riesci a scaricarla sensa problemi. comunque io sto utilizzando la versione 32bit della 2008, ed una volta configurato il repository va che è una meraviglia. comunque ora vedo di testare la distro in versione 64bit.

Scusatemi se mi intrometto ma avrei bisogno di aiuto su questa distro.
Ho acquistato 2 pc modello "baraccas" e vorrei caricarci su Mandriva. Non hanno lettori DVD indi non posso usare i dischi DVD. Tuttavia ho visto che su torrent ci sono distro solo da 1 Gb in su. Quale versione devo scaricare per farla stare su un CD? Possibilmente, c'è un link torrent?I pc hanno entrambi un P3, quindi mi serve per forza la 32 bit
