Sto assemblando il mio nuovo PC con i seguenti componenti:
* Motherboard: Asus P5K E WiFi
* Processore: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
* Dissipatore: ThermalRight Ultra 120 Extreme
* RAM: 2X2GB DDR2 PC6400 C5 DHX
* Vga: ATI Radeon X1950XT
* Hard Disk 1: Western Digital Raptor 74GB SATA1 10.000RPM 16MB cache
* Hard Disk 2: Western Digital Caviar SE 250GB SATA2 7.200RPM 8MB cache
* Masterizzatore: LG GSA-H42N Black
* Controllore Ventole: Thermaltake HardCano 12SE
* Ventole: 3x Scythe S-FLEX 120mm (SFF21E 0.15A) downvoltate a 5v
Scrivo questo post per prendere una decisione sull'alimentatore: Corsair HX520 o Corsair HX620?
Ho inserito tutti i componenti nella pagina suggerita da hibone (PSU Calculator di SnooP) sovrastimando un paio di cose:
- ho portato il Quad a 1.45v e 3,6GHz;
- ho messo la X1950XTX al posto della mia X1950XT
Come risultato ho ottenuto:

850w
- Recommended 12V combined amps for generic brand PSU:
44.7A
- Recommended PSU wattage for decent brand PSU:
495w
- Recommended 12V combined amps for decent brand PSU:

Altra cosa:

Claims to have three +12V rails, but actually only has one (40A)". Visto che dovrebbero bastarmi (nonostante l'esagerazione) 36.2A...
A voi la parola... posso risparmiare i €38 di differenza tra l'HX520 e l'HX620?
