Hi, the ROM-D allows the user to control what configuration settings will be set as default on the modem. So when you save the configuration to ROM-D and flash a new fw version using "Restore Default Settings After Firmware Upgrade" flag all your settings will remain unchanged (also all passwords)!
Clear configuration to ROM-D simple erases your settings. If you want to restore to factory settings you have to use the "Back to Factory Default Settings" under Backup/Restore tab

domanda da ignorante, per salvare su rom d č necessario account di root, non admin... se io avessi un firmware wind, anche moddato, non riuscirei a fare il salvataggio su rom-d, giusto? occorre sempre un firmware moddato con gli account root attivi?
