"All performance tests run on the Gigabyte 7VAXP Ultra (VIA KT400) and Gigabyte 7VAXP-A Ultra (VIA KT400A) utilized one 512MB Corsair XMS PC3200 module set to CAS2/2T/6T/2T timings and running at 400MHz. Any other performance-enhancing timings (like Command Rate, Bank Interleave or Top Performance) were enabled in KT400/400A motherboards that contained such timings. These settings yielded the highest performance we could possibly get from the KT400 and KT400A motherboards. For example, DDR333 mode was slower than DDR400 mode on the 333MHz DDR FSB we used, which is why KT400/KT400A performance tests were run at a memory speed of 400MHz."

x ki nn kapisse l'inglese: Tutti i test eseguiti sulle schede madri Gigabyte utilizzano un modulo di memoria Corsair XMS PC3200 da 512 mb, settato a CAS2/2T/6T/2T e funzionante a 400 mhz. Tutti gli altri timing (Command rate, Bank interleave, top performance....)erano settati nel miglior modo possibile per garantire il migliore incremento prestazionale con questi timing. Queste impostazioni forniscono le massime prestazioni che č possibile ottenere dalle schede madri col KT400 e col KT400A. Per esempio, la modalitą DDR333 era + lenta della DDR400 quando si utilizzava un FSB di 333mhz (da noi utilizzato), questo č il motivo per cui i test sul KT400/KT400A sono stati eseguiti settando la velocitą della memoria a DDR400.
