The beauty of XOOPS is that you do not have to credit XOOPS visibly on your site, all you have to do is leave the comments in the PHP pages. You don't even have to mention XOOPS, you don't need to give XOOPS credit or display "Powered By XOOPS" on your site... you could have a XOOPS site with "Powered By Demons" written in the footer & it would be just fine - XOOPS wouldn't mind. As for removing credits from module footers, leave that for the module developers to gripe about, if they ever feel so inclined.
