Con la seguente press release nVidia ha ufficialmente introdotto le nuove schede video della famiglia Quadro 4, evoluzione dei modelli GeForce 4 e GeForce 4 MX pensati per impieghi di grafica professionale.

nVidia ha inoltre presentato una particolare categoria di schede video Quadro 4, contraddistinte dalla sigla NVS: questi prodotti forniscono supporto multimonitor, nella forma di 2 monitor per la scheda 200NVS e di 4 monitor per quella 400NVS. Con questi prodotti nVidia entra in diretta concorrenza con Matrox nel settore delle schede video multimonitor per impieghi professionali.
