Windows (o almeno così ho letto) fa una specie di prelink, cosa che si puù fare benissimio anche su linux. Rimane il fatto che a parità di condizioni (quindi non con wmaker come wm e due servizi di numero) xp è più veloce. Se non si accetta questo dato di fatto, sarà anche fatica migliorarsi. Per fortuna adesso con initng si arriva al de funzionante quasi nello stesso tempo in cui xp si apre, ma siamo ancora molto indietro (e forse lo saremo sempre, ma non mi interessa in realtà).
