Hello, i'm an italian boy wondering about a strange thing happening here, in these days.
The Guild Wars italian edition, published by Halifax, was in a first time announced to be delayed to the 4/may, but suddendly it came in our stores in just a day or two.
Well, can't say that the ita community complaints weren't well placed, since the game ht the shelves in time, despite what the publisher said before, strangely just after we customers raised the voice.
Now there's another thing that make us feel sorry: the price.
In every country we looked for, we seen a price of about 39-40 euros, not to mention the mythical play.com that sells at about 26 euros, but here in Italy the price is the highest of all: 49,90 euros!
Not enough, on the front cover appears a big pink stamp that sponsorises a broadband line offer by a local provider (Tiscali).
So, i wonder, is Halifax taking money from this sponsor? And is justified the high price applied in our country?
Then, but not least, is ArenaNet and NCSoft aware of this partnership between Halifax and Tiscali?
