1) Install both graphics cards into your Mobo (mine is an Asus A8N-SLi). Put the SLi link onto them.

2) Install the latest ForceWare drivers (66.93 is fine for me).

3) Now we need to update the BIOS on both cards, so create a bootable floppy, and copy NVFlash (v5.12) and the latest BIOS (6565_4501N0.ROM - not the 6787xxx one) for your card from the Gainward web site onto the floppy. Rename the BIOS file "new.rom"

4) Boot the PC using the floppy to the DOS prompt.

5) "nvflash --list" gives a list of all the recognized cards - you should get a list of 2.

6) "nvflash --save --index=0 old0.rom" will save the BIOS from card 0 as old0.rom.

7) "nvflash --save --index=1 old1.rom" will save the BIOS from card 1 as old1.rom.

8 ) "nvflash -4 --index=0 new.rom" will flash the BIOS on card 0 with the new one. The -4 option forces the Board ID mismatch to be ignored.

9) "nvflash -4 --index=1 new.rom" will flash the BIOS on card 1 with the new one. The -4 option forces the Board ID mismatch to be ignored.

10) Now reboot the PC again. When you boot up, the magic SLi bubble should appear. Tick the "SLi enabled option" in the nvidia control panel.

11) It will ask for another reboot - do it, then SLi will be enabled.
