Un saluto a tutti i partecipanti!
Seguo da parecchio tempo questo forum e invio il mio primo post per riportare la soluzione al problema dei black screen. Sono il possessore di una Gainward 6800le afflitta dal ben noto problema.

Navigando in rete ho trovato sul forum.gainward.de il post di un utente (zadah) in cui è descritta la soluzione; riporto il testo:

I have been testing this card on various Vref and VDD settings and it seems now clear that only thing that Crashes thr card is too high VDD voltage.

I think the final reason to this problem is too weak power supply to DDR...
... Because i found another way to FIX black screen problem, IT IS very simple!!!!

Take the biggest capasitor you can find. I used 2200 uF 10V capasitor Mount the - to the ground and the + to TP1, which is voltage source to memory. Now you have nice energy buffer for you DDR and everything should be fine !!!!!! no more black screens

Unless if you are trying to give more voltage to DDR, I increased the voltage to 2,88 Volts which caused the black screen again...., but i manged to run DDR at 1 Ghz on 2,85V....

In pratica il problema sembra essere legato all'alimentazione delle memorie DDR ed è risolvibile aggiungendo un condensatore elettrolitico da 2200uF oppure da 3300uF sulla linea di alimentazione delle DDR, non è nemmeno necessario fare saldature.

Io ci ho provato questa mattina e... FUNZIONA!!! sono passato da 410, 550 (gpu/ddr) a 410, 800!!
