Example: Let's say that you have a 812S drive that you had flashed to a 812S@832S drive using the VS0A firmware. If you want to update to the newer VS0B firmware, you will have to first patch VS0B with OmniPatcher's crossflashing patch before loading it onto your 812S@832S drive! This is because, deep down inside, your 812S drive is still a 812S drive, and thus, any 832S firmware that you load onto your 812S--regardless of what firmware is currently loaded--must be patched!
