480 watts of clean, low ripple voltage and a 48Amp +5V line make the Tagan a real contender for the high end market. The ability to handle a full 240 watts on the +3.3V and +5V combined lines is also better than many similar units can boast.
Both inside and out this is one of the finest power supplies I've looked at to date and it deserves your serious consideration. Watch your backs Antec and Enermax, there's a new kid in town and he's gunning for you!

With near silent performance, high build quality and high performance, this is a PSU which would ideally suit enthusiasts and high-end users. The power supply should last more than a couple of upgrades of the main system, and will be able to cope with the new power standards being introduced soon.

This power pack is actually recommended to everyone! Performance data and the very quiet enterprise are hardly to be exceeded. Who wants to thus have a power pack, with that one into the future to see safe can is in the best way served one with the Tagan TG480-u01. The price is relatively highly however for it gets one a product all around succeeded.

Finally we come to the Tagan TG480-U01, what can I say? This a power supply against which all others can be judged. It is a power supply forsaking "dubious features" in favour of solid engineering , outstanding build quality, has as much grunt as a battalion of foot soldiers and is about as close to silent operation as you can get without PSU water-cooling. Incredibly the Tagan is also the least expensive in this group test. I found one major UK retailer is giving it away for a shade under £57. This is the best PSU I have ever tested and a bargain to boot! 'nuf said!

Running Prime 95 torture test + Quake Demo looped + ripping a DVD to disk with DVDX Copy results in (using Asus Probe) the following voltages: 12.22, 5.026, 3.36, and a v core of 1.47. (P4 3.2C)
None of the voltages varied more than .2 of a volt during the 50 minute test. And it really is very quite.
I'm very pleased with the purchase.

The Tagan Tg480-u01 Tg480-u01 Black edition left a throughout positive impression after the practice test. Many details lift it out from the power pack unit mash and make it particularly interesting for noise emission-conscious users of high performance systems. With its modern electronics, s-ata the connections and a total output of 480 Watts the power pack is also tomorrow still current. The Tagan waits in the direct comparison to the current TSP and BeQuiet! Counterpart with a similarly low noise window blind up and underlines the momentary silent ambitions of the power pack manufacturers. With a maximum volume of 26,0 railway (A) it is the momentarily quietest power pack of the 480 Watts of class in the entire test field. After the evaluation of the log files no voltage drops and fluctuations could be determined with the Tagan Tg480-u01. The actual tension of +3,3 V and +5,0 V of line lay exemplary after at the desired value. Measured + 12.0 V of tension lay with max. +12.40 V somewhat over the average, but still clearly in the tolerance. Also at the quality of workmanship it gave to expose to nothing. The interior structure of the power pack becomes extremely solid and clean. A few regulated exhaust connections the otherwise extensive equipment meaningfully would have only supplemented. Although a purchase price of EUR 94,49 is surely no pasteboard handle, the price performance ratio for a current power pack of the 480 Watts of class appears balanced. Conclusion result: Who looks for a strength-defying power pack with modern electronics and super+quiet operating noise, lies with the Tagan Tg480-u01 exactly correctly.
