E parlando del mostro-prototype Blue Gene/L (attualmente al 4° nella top500) MacBidouille afferma che: "
It is a supercomputer, which is gradually assembled by module. According to Signal 500, it is fourth. But IBM has just announced that henceforth Blue Gene/L had a capacity of calculation of 36.01 TFlops, exceeding the first supercomputer of the world, Earth Simulator which makes "only" 35,86 TFlops.
Beyond the figures, it is a combat without mercy which the manufacturers deliver to have the palm of the power. Let us retain just that the most powerful calculator of the world has processors Power PC, like our Mac."
