It is not the connector or the cables. It is missing load-balancing on GPU Board side for the power PINs. 30 series still had the Power Balancing, that's why there was no issue with the new connector. Starting with 40 series NVIDIA removed the balancing, then the issues started.

Che ci fosse un problema di bilanciamento di corrente sui cavi ricordo che se ne era già parlato, ma qui mi pare si compia un passo in più e del fatto che il problema deriverebbe dal fatto che nvidia ha tolto componentistica... ho almeno così mi è parso di capire. |
Se fosse veramente così (
aspetto conferme) ci sarebbe da mettersi le mani nei capelli e soprattutto, su schede video non proprio "regalate", ci si domanderebbe "perchè ?"
