Sicuramente c'e' un po' di overhead nella comunicazione, quindi non riusciresti neanche a farli ad 1x.
Quindi, se hai il FireWire sul portatire, compra il box firewire, altrimenti potresti comprare un controller USB 2.0 PCMCIA.
