Non per difendere l'utente che hai quotato, ma lui si riferiva alle prestazioni realmente percepibili...
visto che siamo in tema di gaming, non mi aspetto chissā quali miglioramenti nel caricamento dei livelli....
Dopotutto stiamo parlando di prestazioni "solo" 6-7 volte superiori a quelle di un SSD...cosa vuoi che cambia?
L'unica, ma un caso non realistico in un uso tipico, č che la RAM sia insufficiente, e la memoria di massa diventi l'effettiva memoria di lavoro.
Sul sequenziale..basta un raid per avere prestazioni superiori, e diciamo anche che spesso (ma non sempre) chi ha l'esigenza di elevato throughput necessitā anche di salvare un elevato quantitativo di dati, e il costo per GB diviene un fattore importantissimo da tener conto..la soluzione a queste problematiche č proprio lo striping
