La prima (e mi pare ancora più estesa) smart grid è stata realizzata dall'ENEL proprio in italia.

Riguardo alla ridistribuzione dell'energia è vero che nn ci pensa propriamente la smart grid, ma il suo compito è quello di fornire le informazioni necessarie in modo da "dire" alle centrali cosa devono fare in modo che possano (dove possibile) regolarsi..........al sud c'è l'eolico che va a palla? si possono regolare le centrali a turbogas o idroelettriche al nord e farle andare meno o addirittura spegnerle
