adesso hai accelerazione di qualche tipo tramite la scheda grafica? (son sottigliezze con quel tipo di hw datato)

accelerazione in che senso?

io più in la di questo comando glxinfo | grep -i render e di glxgears (girano e anche bene) non vado
se intendi gli effetti sulle finestre, etc. (compiz) su questo pc ci rinuncio volentieri, in casa non siamo "amanti" degli effetti mirabolanti (li tengo "a default" pure sul pc più prestante).

direi che ci posso rimunciare, come coi video di youtube.

ah, mi sono dimenticato di postare lo xorg.conf (i dati li ho recuperati spulciando nei cab del cd di windows 98)
