Ho trovato una cosa interessante:
il suono integrato č in realtā gestito da un chip realtek ALC650. (ho provato su windows a sostituire il driver via con quello realtek ed in effetti va molto meglio).
Il driver per il realtek esiste in formato tar.gz. l'ho scaricato dal sito ed ho visto che non dovrebbe essere complicato da installare. L'unica cosa problematica č che mi dice di editare il file modules.conf per farlo funzionare. E qui mi blocco...
questo č quello che c'č scritto nel readme:
Step 1. Unzip source code
tar xfvj alcsound.tar.bz2
Step 2. Turn on sound support (soundcore module)
Step 3. Complied source code
a. ./Configure
b. make install
c. ./snddevices
Step 4. Edit your /etc/modules.conf or conf.modules depending on the Distribution
(Please refer to the attached modules.conf)
Step 5. reboot your machine
