"I did some more test on the v2 modified bios and it seems to work fine. While my old GPUs (two of them) worked fined when switching from 200/300 to 700/1000 my third GPU does not. It only switches properly from 200/500 to 700/1000 and beyond (the asus vbios sucks, what can I say). So I set the battery mode to 200/500. This bios sticks with 700/1000 so if you're old GPU GSOD'd at 700/1000 it still will. However, the ATI Override feature has been unlocked so you can fine tune to a stable setting and still take advantage of Powerplay. ATI Override also elimiates the need to use AMD GPUTool to load your settings at startup. Both my previous GPUs were rock solid at 800/1100, some have reported values like 699/999, 705/1100, 750/950 etc. Just play around with it, you'll arrive at something stable."
