UPDATE Friday 19.00 HT-Time: Hattrick has been down since early morning due to a hardware failure in one of our external disk cabinets. Since this is where the Hattrick database is stored, we have been working on two fronts today: finding and resolving the hardware problem, while at the same time trying to secure the Hattrick game data. Around noon today, we had the database up and running again, but unfortunately the cabinet crashed again resulting in a corrupt database. By late afternoon, we had finally replaced the faulty hardware but were still trying to restore the Hattrick database as per Friday morning. We didnīt succeed, and have now decided to restore a backup made Thursday morning around 0700 Ht-time. At present, all systems are up again and Hattrick is making up for the time lost. Going back to this previous backup will have effects for many teams, since already processed transfers will be unmade and deadlines rescheduled, and games will have to be replayed, and the player updates recalculated. We will of course try to get the site back online as soon as we can, but our priority is to make sure Hattrick and the hardware continues to work alright. Donīt expect Hattrick back online on Friday. We will inform you as soon as we know more about the reopening of the site. We are very sorry about this disruption of the service.
