Questa opinione mi sembra interessante
And according to the website http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1...&l3=789...Both the M3A79-T - Deluxe and M4A79 - Deluxe support the AM3 processor (except M3A79 has the AM2+ socket, whereas the M4A79 has the AM3 socket). There's also a little disclaimer on their AM3 motherboard support list that says "Note: Models listed are DDR2 platforms. The new BIOS version listed supports both AMD AM2+ 45nm CPU and AM3 CPU."
I'm assuming this means that AM3 CPU's fit in AM2+ motherboards, but AM2+ CPU's won't fit into AM3 motherboards. The AM3 CPU's have DDR2 and DDR3 controllers right? This is all starting to make some sense...except I can't figure out why ASUS would re-release/re-brand basically the same board (M4A79/M3A79)...except maybe to cash in on the AM3 branding?
