Fudo reports that AMD is testing out 32nm chips at Fab 36, but it still looks like they will be well behind Intel in shipping 32nm parts.
We were told by company representatives that AMD is testing 32nm chips in FAB 36 and that it is on the schedule to transition from 45nm to 32nm in 2010. We would suggest that this might happen in very late 2010 rather than early, two years after the transition to 45nm. With 32nm AMD will finally transit to high K metal gate and something they call ULK Air GAPS; unfortunately this is something we don't know much about at the moment.
22nm For AMD In 2012?

Fudo reports that AMD's Foundry Company is working on 22nm, and it could be coming in 2012.
Volume production is probably coming in early 2013, again if all stays on schedule, and AMD doesn’t run out of money until then. AMD is working with IBM to develop these chips and therefore the total investment from AMD and The Foundry Company in 22nm won't be as big as Intel's, as they can simply split some of the cost.
