Riuppo questo vecchio 3ad perché mi è capitata sotto mano una 5200 FX con 128 Mb e, visto che devo aggiornargli il bio perché ogni tanto fà cose strane, vorrei moddarla.

qui che è possibile farla vedere come Quadro FX500 (il che mi farebbe comodo per l'uso che ne dovrei fare - NO giochi ma a/v editing...) e
qui che è possibile flasharla come 5500.

There's no different in BIOS except the GPU and memory speed. I already tried flashing all those BIOS's including Quadro BIOS and still got Dev ID 322 (GeForce FX5200). Conclusion, you can overclock GPU and memory if you want, nothing different if you flash other BIOS's in terns of extra features such as extra pipeline or such.

Il mio problema è che non mi piacciono le modifiche software dei drivers, tantomeno voglio mettere mano al saldatore; secondo voi è più opportuno flashare un bios FX500 (QuadroFX) o un 5500 ?
EDIT: posto anche uno shot di GPUz prima delle modifiche
