Roy Tayler, a very efficient Vice president of Nvidia the chap who could assassin any creed has told Fudzilla that Physic is free and that every Geforce 8 series card or newer can support it.


If ATI wanted to embrace Physics they can do it, which we believe that can and is highly likely to happen. We’ve heard that Physics software is suppose to launch soon but we didn’t get the fixed date.

We believe that when Nvidia says free that this means that even Intel can do it but Intel got itself havoc and we are probably here for a big fight between Nvidia and Intel on who gets the physics piece of the market.

It is great to hear that these usually heavily competitive companies are sharing some technologies and whatever the reasons are, you my favour chaps who read these lines are going to benefit from it. This is even better than price wars that also helps all consumers out, expect the companies itself.

Nvidia's boss of The Way it’s meant to be played, VP Roy Tayler said Fudzilla that Nvidia works with its well established developers on 16 titles that will support Physics, that should hit the shelves by the end of the year.


Some of these sixteen includes Bionic commando from Capcon and Shadow harvest from Black Lion studios at just two that Nvidia could talk about.

Just remember that all Unreal Engine 3 games supports Physics and since Physics will run on Geforce 8 series cards on this CUDA thing, you should see some really nice physics at least on your PC.

Roy also said that we should expect 40 more titles by summer of 2009.

Nvidia is serious about Physics and with its The Way its meant to be player, we believe that it shouldn’t be brainer that they can do it. If anything Nvidia really knows how to reach developers and publishers and TWIMTBP is one of the most successful marketing stuff that they ever pulled off.
