Su un altro forum americano ho trovato questa stralcio che vi riporto:

DGL-4500 and DIR-855 are both dualband wireless (2.4GHz and 5GHz).

DIR-655 and DIR-660 are both single band (2.4GHz).

DIR-655 vs DIR-660 - These two are exactly the same routers, except the 660 is a limited edition of the 655 with the onboard display that is found on the has the DGL-4500 gaming router. Therefore, they are single-band (2.4GHz) wireless routers.

DIR-655 vs DIR-855 - The major differences are in performance, where the 655 is single-band and 855 is dual-band wireless, and the onboard display (found on the 855, 660, and 4500). I have the 655, and it works perfect for me (after working out the kinks). I tried my neighbor's 4500, and for my everyday uses I found no significant difference between the two. I have the 855, and it works great, except it still has some issues regarding the wireless connection getting dropped for SOME (not all) wireless computers. I will give it another few weeks, and if I still can't get it to work I am going to return the 855, and will wait for v2 to come out.
