THREAD UFFICIALE DFI LANPARTY DK P35-T2R/S
Anche se in ritardo (considerando l'attuale evoluzione dei produttori verso main equipaggiate con X38 e DDR3), come ci sta abituando da tempo, la taiwanese DFI si prepara ad immettere sul mercato una nuova scheda madre, equipaggiata con i chipset Intel P35 e ICH9R, supporto alle DDR2 e singolo slot PCI-express 16x.
Una scheda madre progettata per andarsi ad inserire fra la più ricche (e costose) Lanparty e la più scarna, ma altrettanto performante, Infinity Blood Iron, ma che, dalle prime recensioni apparse per il web, sembra essere estremamente performante.
Il prezzo dovrebbe ricadere nella fascia fra i 150 ed i 170 dollari americani.

"Sino ad oggi DFI ha già rilasciato 3 modelli di schede madri basati sul chipset Intel P35. Per soddisfare i diversi livelli dei nostri giocatori, la nuova serie DK sta per unirsi alla famiglia LANParty. Questa scheda madre è un aggiornamento della serie Dark, una via dimezzo sia per gli harcore-gamers che per overclocker che mirano al risparmio.
L'esclusivo PCB nero della scheda madre è dotato di slots arancio fosforescenti e condensatori allo stato solido in alluminio. Questo rappresenta il massimo disponibile e conferma l'alta qualità della serie Lanparty. DFI intende fornire ai giocatori una piattaforma high-end per l'overclock, ma solo ad un prezzo ridotto. La scheda madre Lanparty DK P35 - T2RS è basata su piattaforma Intel. Supporta completamente gli ultimi processori Intel Quad-core. Il Northbridge e Southbridge della Lanparty DK P35 - T2RS sono rappresentati dai chipset Intel ad alte prestazioni P35 e ICH9R. Inoltre il FSB supportato può raggiungere i 1333MHz. Questa versione della scheda madre supporta moduli ram DDRII 800Mhz.
Due anni fa DFI, con la serie Lanparty, è stato il primo produttore del settore ad introdurre l'alimentazione (PWM) digitale per tutti gli appassionati del mondo. La Lanparty DK P35 - T2R offre un'alimentazione a 4 fasi digitali per mantenere e portare l'alimentazione della CPU alla perfezione. L'alimentazione digitale utilizza componenti per mantenere l'alimentazione costante, per soddisfare le elevate esigenze degli overclockers e dei gamers. Inoltre fornisce sufficiente alimentazione per qualunque esigenza dei processori Quad-core.
La Lanparty DK P35 - T2R offre agli utenti una buona espandibilità: la main è equipaggiata con un totale di 6 porte SATAII che permettono di configurare RAID 0/1/0+1/5. Sebbene il Northbridge non fornisca supporto ai connettori IDE, DFI per venire incontro alle esigenze dei propri clienti ha dotato la scheda madre di con un chip extra (JM368) per il connettore IDE. E se ciò non fosse ancora sufficiente, la main offre un totale di 12 porte USB2.0 per tutti gli usi.
Vale la pena notare che l'audio della Lanparty DK P35 - T2RS è affidato alla RealTek, con un decodificatore ALC885 ad 8 canali, che è stato certificato da Microsoft come altamente raccomandato per Windows Vista versione Premium. Il rapporto SNR DAC / ADC SNR è 106dB / 101dB, che fornisce la più alta frequenza di campionamento di 192 KHz e 24bit PCM come formato audio. I giocatori possono divertirsi con un audio ultra realistico a 7.1 canali durante le loro battaglie, con una qualità degli effetti audio che solo i teatri possono offrire.
Le funzionalità offerte dal BIOS sono orientate all'overclocling. DFI con la serie Lanparty ha investito sforzi e risorse per la scrittura del BIOS, come è tradizione DFI. La scheda madre mantiene questa buona tradizione propria della serie Lanparty.
In aggiunta, la Lanparty DK P35 possiede anche un design elegante ed il jumper EZ CMOS, utile nel caso in cui il vostro sistema rimanga bloccato. Si tratta di un ponticello posto nella parte posteriore della scheda madre (dell'I/O shield). Pertanto non è necessario aprire il pannello del case per accedere al jumper del CMOS nel caso in cui il sistema si blocchi per motivi legati all'overclock. La scheda madre Lanparty DK P35 - T2R è di gran lunga la più conveniente piattaforma per le massime prestazioni in overclock!"

Prime impressioni:
Merits:
1)There is an ID of “Dark” from outside to inside. Looks good
2)All in solid capacitors and on board Power/ Reset button and those Mosfit heat sink
3)Rich Bios options for tweaking, particularly in DRAM’s ratio
4)The FSB record is almost the fastest of all P35 boards in market.
It rocks me when DRAM can reach 1200 & CL4 level.
5)High C/P ratio in DFI LANParty series
I tried to use QX6800 CPU for a record of DK P35, but my highest record is only FSB485MHz.
Aside from this, the performance of Dual core CPU is a bit weaker than UT P35.
But you still can reach FSB550 to 580 if your CPU is good enough.
DFI LANParty DK P35 Series provides a “overclockable” BIOS and features,
that make users have an good OC environment; DFI features 4-phase PWM this time.
Although it looks a bit weak,
but it equipped with 16 mosfit within which gains a stronger performance than 6, 8-phase digital PWM.
