Tutti i test visti fino ad oggi non avevano castrazione da parte del bios, eppure erano deludenti. L'introduzione del workaround (per chi vorrà usarlo) abbasserà ulteriormente le prestazioni.
Lo step b3 renderà semplicemente non necessario l'uso del workaround, ma non vedo proprio perchè dovrebbe andare meglio del b2. A meno che non introduca anche ottimizzazioni di altro genere (ma ne dubito molto fortemente, perchè queste non sono cose che si fanno tra uno step e un altro...). |
allora capitano, gli ultimi 2 quote che hai postato nn fanno altro che confermare quello che dicevo io.
Quindi preso per buono che nei test di hwu, e in quella tabella che hai postato te, come ho detto prima, il bug della tlb nn influsce, in quanto NON fixato, LA NOTIZA postata prima come "COLPO DISCENA" non introduce niente di nuovo xke' se amd con la rev b3 corregge solo il bug della tlb nn si avra' l'aumento di prestazione nemmeno dell'1%, se fixa anche gli altri ..vedremo
e speriamo bene
FATTO STA, che la news di poco fa NON DICE NIENTE DI NUOVO, in quanto ci sno gia test effettuati senza fix, e il phenom e' sempre dietro , purtroppo, al core 2 duo.
Aspettiamo la rev b3 e vediamo se corregge gli altri bug ...
