ho lwetto un po' di recensioni di turisti in giro...

sembra non essere una cittā tranquillissima...

vi riporto un esempio in cui si parla di pioneer square ma si accenna a seattle in generale!

"Pioneer Square has a lot of interesting old buildings and some very authentic old saloons, but it (and Seattle in general) also has some very aggressive bums. I was walking down a street in the area one day, carrying a camera, when a homeless guy sitting on a stoop across the street spotted me coming. He jumped up, ran across the street and fell in beside me as I walked along. I'm not unfamiliar with homeless people, being from San Diego, but I'm a little unnerved when one runs across the street to chat me up. I felt like I was being stalked. Strangely, the guy didn't ask me for money, but began jabbering about my camera. It was a very cheap point-and-shoot model and there was nothing special about it in the least. I knew he was working his way around to hitting me up, and I was kind of annoyed that he was taking so long to get to the point. In fact, he irritated me so much that I was kind of rude to him and he dropped off. This wasn't the only instance of aggressive behaviour I saw, either. A big, burly, bearded bum got on a bus I was on and IMMEDIATELY began picking a fight with another passenger. I wasn't totally surprised, a few months later, when I heard about the WTO riots in Seattle. There seemed to be a feeling of rage simmering just below the surface among the homeless element. From the way I've been going on about the place, you probably think I'd have no interest in going back."

č realistico?
