Non saranno un po' troppi per un PC e un portatile? Spero che tu li alterni!!
Ci credo che Predictor ti ha dato problemi... il client richiede 1GB di RAM per mandare in esecuzione la WUs... se sulla macchina hai 500MB liberi... nothing to do!

dTASSER uses about 70MB RAM for the first 80% of the job and then it needs between 700MB and 1GB RAM. The first 80% of the job can be thought of a calculation. The last 20% can be thougt of as summation. It is this last part that gobbles up all the memory. During the computation phase dTASSER creates 40,000 models. During the summation phase it groups the models and picks about eight that are representative of the group. This is what is returned to the server. For now there is nothing we can do to reduce the memory usaage.
