I'd just like to add a note. It seems the general impression among the gaming community is that because Crysis looks so great, it will require a killer rig too run. To some extent this annoys me as there would certainly have been much worse looking games at E3 running on system with two 8800 Ultra's with comparable performance to Crysis, yet Crysis is only being demonstrated using a single 8800GTX ( not even an 8800 Ultra if I'm not mistaken ).
So I think that in the end, Crysis not only deserves recognition for it's looks and gameplay, but also how optimized this engine is. Also keeping in mind that there's still plenty of optimization to come. In the end it's only natural to assume that such a gorgeous game would require a machine to match but the reality is, that's not the case. So to some it up, I'm a little disappointed that there hasn't been a single publication to mention the superb performance of this engine. It goes well beyond the graphics also (AI, Sound, Physics.etc).

Mi piacerebbe fare un piccolo appunto. Abbiamo notato che l'impressione generale delle comunità di videogiocatori è incentrata solo sull'aspetto estetico del gioco e dalla possibilità che un gioco con la grafica così bella richieda un pc ninja per girare.La verità è che alla presentazione all'E3 il gioco girava su 8800 GTX singola (e non su ultra come tutti pensano).
In ogni caso penso che alla fine le attenzioni su crysis non saranno solo "riservate" all'aspetto estetico e al gameplay ma anche all'ottimizazzione dell'engine grafico.
Alla fine dice che svilupperanno il gioco per l'hardware a disposizione attualemnte e non per un ipotetico nuovo hardware (vedi g92..) e dice anche che oltre all'ottimizzazzione verranno curati anche altri aspetti (IA etc...)
