La vera differnza tra DVI e HDMI e' che quest'ultimo prevede anche l'audio e dei controlli remoti che DVI non dispone, inoltre quasi tutti i DVI dei pc non hanno HDCP e quindi alcuni contenuti protetti potrebbero non essere visualizzati dal tv lcd.

Per il resto il segnale digitale video del DVI e' lo stesso dell'hdmi (ed infatti gli adattatori DVI-HDMI che vendono sono passivi).

Nessuna perdita di qualita'.

Se non sbaglio la DVI-D dual link è compatibile anche con l'HDMI standard B, mi sbaglio?
